Located on the banks of the Lieutenant River, the Museum offers a captivating setting for your special event. Come see what drew the American Impressionist artists to paint "en plein air" along the river or in our gardens. You'll be as charmed as they were by the beauty of the landscape.

On the banks of the Lieutenant River
Large parties may be held outdoors under a tent on the Adrian P. Moore Garden Terrace overlooking the Lieutenant River. Smaller parties, meetings, seminars, lectures, workshops, and special events may be held in several buildings throughout the grounds or outside on the covered wrap-around porch with water views. Marshfield House overlooks the Lieutenant River and has four beautifully appointed rooms available for your use. The setting is an ideal one for your groups offsite whole or half day meetings or a special place for your next cocktail party or seated dinner.  The John and Dyanne Rafal Landscape Center is an historic 19th century barn that has been transformed into a space for discovery. The barn features an exhibition that highlights the significance of the region’s landscape. The building includes program space for workshops, meetings, and lectures. Gatherings can also be held in the Hartman Education Center. Fashioned as a post and beam barn this creative space is perfect for parties, retreats and teambuilding sessions for up to 40 adults. Imagine your gathering held in the very setting that inspired a generation of artists. It will be an event your guests will always remember. Capacity: Adrian P.
