Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Tony Award-winning tale of Argentina’s controversial First Lady, Evita Peron, is headed back to Broadway and the Florence Griswold Museum has reserved a block of orchestra seats for Wednesday, June 20th, at 2pm. The musical features songs such as Don’t Cry for Me Argentina and High Flying Adored, and follows Evita’s early life, rise to power, charity work, and eventual death. Argentinian Elena Roger will take on the mantle of the complex “Evita,” as she did in London -- wowing audiences across the pond, while Latin music star Ricky Martin will star as “Che.” Tony Award-winning Michael Cerveris will play Juan Peron. This show is sure to be a highlight of the 2012 Broadway season
