Giving Opportunities

The Florence Griswold Museum offers a host of ways that you can invest in the future of this beloved institution from annual giving to estate planning. And of course, all donations are tax-deductible.

Willard MetcalfThe 2008 Annual Fund Drive

The Annual Fund provides operational support for the Museum's buildings and grounds, while paving the way for FGM to offer the most creative educational programs and the most compelling exhibitions. More visitors than ever are savoring the beauty of this place that once inspired a generation of American artists. Your support will help us continue to serve as a place of inspiration.

Your gift to the 2008 Annual Fund will directly help to offset the annual costs of operating a regional museum of art, history, and landscape that serves over 51,000 visitors annually. The success of the Annual Fund will enable the Museum to maintain the standards of excellence in exhibitions and educational programs you have come to expect from us.

Help us toward our goal of $230,000 and watch the painting appear.

Your Annual Fund gift may be made in the form of cash, credit card, or appreciated stock, and your generosity will be promptly acknowledged and recognized in our Annual Report.

The Florence Griswold Museum invites you to join the Lieutenant River Society, an esteemed and growing membership of generous donors who have included the Museum in their estate plans.

Planned giving can be a creative vehicle for making thoughtful gifts that will help secure the financial future of the Museum for generations to come. Bequests, gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts are but some of the many planned giving opportunities available.
