*Make a painting Sunday

Every Sunday
1-5pm
Free with Museum admission
No reservations required

Every Sunday visitors are encouraged to try their hand painting plein air, in the open air, just like the Lyme Art Colony artists. Painters are given brushes, palette, paint, canvas, and a smock and are sent to paint down by the river or in Miss Florence's garden. All ages and skill levels welcome. There are also hands-on art projects, books, games and puzzles to enjoy. A great way to spend the day.

*NeW Art Colony Camps

Spend five sun-filled, fun-filled days this summer in your very own artist colony surrounded by creative friends making art and touring the historic
grounds. Designed for students going into grades 1 thru 6, art colony campers will work together and with great artists/leaders to investigate all the Museum has to offer including art exhibitions, painting outdoors,
playing historic games, and more.

Camps include a free t-shirt, all art-making materials, daily
snacks, and more! Camps are Monday through Friday from 10am until 3pm.
(Note: campers bring their own lunch)
